Jimmy Petrousse was born in Beirut, Lebanon in 1978. At the age of five, his parents sent him and his twin brother (Bobby) to the Seychelles Islands, in the care of their maternal grandparents. After graduating from high school, and completing two years of post-secondary education (emphasis on science), Jimmy worked as a high school math and science substitute teacher. In the year 2000, Jimmy traveled to the United States to continue his education. He graduated from Florida College in 2004 with a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies. Jimmy met his wife Tabitha while attending Florida College was married in the summer of 2005.

Jimmy was taught the gospel by an American preacher named, Robert Smith and was baptized into Christ in 1994 at the age of sixteen. Soon after his conversion, Jimmy decided He wanted to spend his life working as an evangelist, especially with the people of Seychelles. However, due to his wife’s health complications, Jimmy and Tabitha have remained in the States, so Tabitha could receive the necessary treatments that she needed. Jimmy and Tabitha have set a goal is to move to the Seychelles as soon as possible. They both hope that sometimes in the year 2008, if the Lord wills, they will be able to be in Seychelles, and participate in the Lord’s work there.

 In the meantime, Jimmy currently preaches for the congregation that meets at the Zephyrhills Church of Christ, in Zephyrhills Florida. Jimmy has been working with this congregation in Zephyrhills since August 2005.
